This artwork by Lkhagvadorj was inspired by children encountered during International Children's Day. The artist, known for his practice of interviewing his subjects, learned the stories of these children who were selling balloons and candy on the street. Their earnings, sadly, often went towards supporting their parents' alcohol consumption. The artwork portrays these children at work on their own special day, with playful patterns of confetti and bubbles reflecting the fleeting joy amidst their challenging circumstances.
