Otgontugs Dondovdorj is a contemporary Mongolian artist whose practice explores
nomadic identity and its continuity, cultural memory, and inner landscapes. Raised in an
artistic family, she began painting at an early age, and later earned a Bachelor’s degree
from the School of Fine Arts at the Mongolian University of Arts and Culture in Ulaanbaatar.
Her work has been exhibited internationally across Asia, Europe, and the United States.
Painting intuitively without preliminary sketches and guided by traditional Mongolian music,
she allows each work to emerge organically, acting as both creator and witness to the
process.
