EXHIBITION

The Gesture of the Language – Calligraphy & digital imaginaries

Dates

September 11, 2026 - October 10, 2026

Location

This exhibition put Mongolian calligraphic tradition into dialogue with contemporary artistic forms that examine the transformations of language and its mediums — particularly those driven by digital technologies.

The curatorial approach, initiated by Frédéric Lemaigre and Fabien Zocco (France), brings together works by French and international artists who explore language as a living material in constant flux. Boundaries blur between the gesture of the hand and that of the machine, memory and algorithm, heritage and experimentation, sign and form. Images,  objects, and installations thus reveal language as a sensory experience, where memory and one’s relationship to the world are constantly reinvented.
